I also love to write, and I am currently writing a little book thing (still don't have a title for it). Anyway, one of the books i have read recently was Eragon! About this author

Christopher Paolini was raised in the Paradise Valley, Montana area. His family members include his parents, Kenneth Paolini and Talita Hodgkinson, and his sister, Angela Paolini. Home schooled for the duration of his education, Paolini graduated from high school at the age of 15 through a set of accredited correspondence courses from American School of Correspondence in Lansing, Illinois. Following graduation, he started his work on what would become the novel Eragon the first of a series, set in the mythical land of Alagaƫsia.

Pretty awesome, right?

Anyway, I also enjoy Rick Riordan's books.
He has about, like, A MILLON BOOK SERIES?!?! He has some books i havent heard of either though.
He has Percy Jackson, that series had 5 books in it. He also has the Kane Chronicles, That has 3 books in it. He has The Heros Of Olympus. That book CURRENTLY has 3 books in it. The new book, The house of Hades is coming out this year! A bit about the author:

Born: June 5, 1964 (age 48), San Antonio
Awards: Hampshire Book Award, More
Nominations: Carnegie Medal, More

Pretty awesome for a 48 year old, huh?
Another series i enjoy is Matched! Only 3 books in the trilogy. The first is Matched, the second is Crossed, and the third is Reached. I haven't read Reached yet, but my cousin has. A bit about the author:
A former English teacher (who still keeps her license current, just in case!), she lives with her husband and four children outside of Salt Lake City, Utah. She loves reading, writing, running, and listening to her husband play guitar.
:D :D :D Pretty awesome, huh? Someone of the kids in my class think its weird when I read about the author on the dust jacket.
Another series I like is The Candy Shop War!
It is by Brandon Mull, it now has a sequel! I have FINALLY finished it! About the author:

Brandon Mull is the author of the New York Times, USA Today, and Wall Street Journal bestselling Beyonders and Fablehaven series. Brandon resides in a happy little valley near the mouth of a canyon with his wife and four children. He spent two years living in the Atacama Desert of Northern Chile where he learned Spanish and juggling. He once won a pudding eating contest in the park behind his grandma’s house, earning a gold medal.

:D :D :D :D :D :D Ok I think that is all I'm going to stop blogging here right now. More about my cousins next time!!!!
